Business Trip or Temp Assignment to space?

Today's launch of the Space Shuttle has to be one of the most expensive temporary assignments out there(although I think business trip might be a more appropriate classification). Of course there are 7 passengers, so that does reduce the overall costs. Household goods shipments are apparently quite limited on a trip like this. They are generally measured in cubic feet and not weight.

At least there are no visas to apply for!

For those that want to go into space on their own, it's very unlikely to be considered a business expense. American Gregory Olsen is expected to be the second space tourist(note the name "tourist"). It's estimate that his trip to the International Space Station will cost him approximately $20 Million. While there, he can only stay on the Russian side of the station.
